We’ve added more prizes including some beautiful handcrafted items for the raffle on Women’s Service Day, October 6. Proceeds will help support continuing renovation work at Pathways MI, with some portion covering minor event costs.
You can also view additional items for auction.
Do you have a special talent for things homemade? Women’s Service Day is seeking donations from West Michigan women for our annual event set for October 4 this year.
Once again, we will be holding a silent auction and raffle filled with homemade items made by you! Last year the auction/raffle, along with other fundraisers, provided $2,400 to Nuestra Casa/The Gathering Place, a neighborhood center renovation project at 253 W. 15th Street in Holland.
We’ll be working at Nuestra Casa and Westcore neighborhood again this year, and at a number of nonprofit organizations in Holland.
Women’s Service Day originated from the spirit of giving among a group of women who recruited their friends and colleagues to help build a home for a single mom. We’d love to engage more women from our community to offer their time and talents, working side-by-side with women who want to make a difference.
If you’re interested in donating one of your creative, homemade items for our auction/raffle this year, please contact Cheryl Murdoch at firstname.lastname@example.org by September 1.
