We’re in the home stretch of Women’s Service Season—three months of
community action in four primary areas, from August through October. It’s our way of
modifying Women’s Service Day during a pandemic to help volunteers connect with urgent
needs in West Michigan.
Here are the opportunities to wrap up October and support families stressed by domestic violence, diaper and food scarcity, changes in household dynamics, mental health issues, as well as people with different abilities who want to belong.
