If you’ve participated in Women’s Service Day before, you know that we typically have a fundraising event with awesome prizes during our luncheon. You can still win, although we won’t be together this year! (And if you’ve been working from home during the pandemic, you’ll want to check out the comfy office chairs we’re giving away.)
Tell us your story of participating in Women’s Service Season! The Women’s Service Day Core Team will review all entries, and choose four to receive awards, contributed by area business who join us in gratitude for the giving spirit of our community:

Third Award: Herman Miller Caper Chair (color will vary)

Fourth Award: Brewery Vivant $50 Gift Card
Participate between August 3 and October 31 with one or more agencies listed below. You may volunteer in person or remotely, alone or with friends; give in-kind items; make a financial donation; or educate or recruit others to support one or more of the nonprofits. Submit your entry via this online form by November 6, 2020. While you may submit more than one form, no one is eligible for more than one award.
The Women’s Service Day Core Team will determine which entries will receive volunteer appreciation awards; all decisions are final. They will consider number of volunteer activities completed in support of one or more agencies, the recruitment of family, colleagues, or friends in the effort, and the degree to which the story could encourage others to volunteer. All entries will be considered for sharing in social media and other communications to build volunteerism in our community.
Agencies we’ve promoted: Arbor Circle, Benjamin’s Hope, Camp Sunshine, Community Action House, Eighth Day Farm, Holland Rescue Mission, Hope Pkgs, Kids Food Basket, Nestlings Diaper Bank, Resilience
Thank you to our generous prize donors: Herman Miller, Inc., Herman Miller Cares, Office Outlet, Inc., and Brewery Vivant.
